Your pre-loved items could be just what our customers are looking for. And the best part? Every item sold helps ensure that every companion animal receives the love and care it deserves.

Please make sure your items are new or gently used in good condition.

*Must be pre-arranged with the Thrift Store manager. Please submit photos to pspcathrift@placerspca.org so we can determine if we will be able to accept your donation.

Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Including, but not limited to:

  • Absolutely NO furs, ivory, animal teeth, feet, tails, antler or taxidermy prepared animals, products or parts
  • Firearms or ammunition
  • VCR tapes, DVDs or CDs
  • Electronic equipment, TVs, DVD/VCR players, turntables, etc.
  • Computer equipment, monitors, speakers, hard drives, thumb drives, etc.
  • Helmets
  • Large appliances
  • Mattresses, bed frames, headboards, foot boards or rails
  • Paint, varnish or household repair materials
  • Undergarments or socks
  • Wheelchairs, walkers, medical supplies or appliances
  • Fitness or exercise equipment (stretch bands, yoga balls, treadmills, etc.)
  • Sporting equipment (baseball gear, skis, etc.)
  • Office equipment, organizers or supplies
  • Yard or outdoor appliances
  • Recalled items (www.recalls.gov)
  • Highchairs, strollers, cribs or car seats/boosters
  • Children’s toys & stuffed animals

Volunteer at our Thrift Store

We are always eager to welcome more fun and friendly faces to the Placer SPCA Thrift Store. Volunteers help with sorting donations, pricing items, setting up displays, cashiering and assisting customers.

 

Here are the requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older to volunteer.
  • Must be able to commit to one 4-hour shift per week.
  • Must attend an in-person volunteer orientation, followed by in-store training.
