An update from Nellie’s family:

Nellie has become an absolute star in our household – she’s truly a full-fledged Hightower and more than we ever hoped for. She settled in beautifully and is completely acclimated to both her home and our family. Her personality shines through every day: she’s incredibly smart, bursting with energy, and she snuggles with every family member, always ready for affection.

Nellie walks wonderfully, has never had an accident indoors, and took to crate training like a pro. She loves going to the dog park and playing with her stuffed animals and tennis balls. We’ve learned not to leave butter on the counter (she’s at the perfect height to sneak a taste!), and she’s earned the nickname Nelliebutter.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to adopt her and thankful to Placer SPCA for making this possible. Nellie truly feels like she was meant to be a part of our family. Thanks again for your support and for everything you do for pets and their people.
