Every year, we honor people, animals, businesses and/or organizations that have gone above
and beyond to demonstrate how strong the human-animal bond is. If you know of a local hero, nominate them
today for a Placer SPCA Hero Award!
Submit the form below along with a statement about your nominee and photos, clippings,
or other additional information to the Placer SPCA by March 1st. Selected recipients will be presented
their award at this year’s Funny Bones event on Friday, March 11th.
Please submit your nomination to funddevelopment@placerspca.org.
You may also mail or deliver in-person to Placer SPCA Adoption & Education Center (200 Tahoe Avenue, Roseville, CA 95678).
Previous Hero Award Recipient
K-9 Officer Eros with the Placer County Sheriff’s Office received the Placer SPCA Hero Award in 2017. Eros was shot in the line of duty during a gun battle with a murder suspect. (Eros made a full recovery, but sadly passed away from cancer in late 2019).
