1st and 2nd Grade

Be Kind and Always Love Your Pet: Be gentle, kind, and calm with your pet. Never hit, tease, or make your pet feel bad by chasing, riding, squeezing, or pulling its ears or tail. Each type of pet is different, so make sure you know what they need to be happy and healthy!

3rd and 4th Grade

All Dogs and Cats Need an Identification Tag on Their Collar! Identification tags are the best way to help get your pet back to you if it escapes or gets lost.

Adoption as Your First Option: All pets require different levels of commitment and care. Make sure you research a pet before you adopt. There are thousands of animals needing loving homes in animal shelters across the country.
