Curbside for our Furry Companions
What: A no-contact / drive- up donation drive hosted by Roseville City Council Member Bruce Houdesheldt to support the animals in need at the Placer SPCA!
Where: This event will take place at the new Adoption & Education Center on Saturday, June 20th from 8am -12pm located at 200 Tahoe Ave, Roseville, CA 95678. Social distancing will be observed by all volunteers and staff to ensure the safety of all during this event. Those bringing donations will be directed by volunteers when entering the parking lot. Forms will be available for those wishing to make a monetary donation.
Why: Like most of you, the Placer SPCA has also been impacted by the pandemic. We had to cancel our two largest fundraising events of the year, Funny Bones and Woof Wine and Dine. Our thrift store, recycling and adoption programs were temporarily suspended resulting in another significant loss of revenue. Fortunately the animals have continued to receive the highest quality of care within our facilities or in foster homes. This will remain our focus along with ramping up our food assistance and other programs to keep people and pets together whenever possible.
