Kittens

We’re expecting kittens!

Each year, kitten season seems to arrive earlier than previous years. The Placer SPCA sees a large influx of kitten litters during the warm weather months, especially between April and October. We rely on our dedicated adopters, fosters, and supporters to help us provide exceptional care for kittens who are too young to be adopted. We are always in need of help – especially now.

Four ways you can help the Placer SPCA prepare for kitten season:

  1. Help us make room for kitten season by adopting an adult cat for $10! For a list of adoptable cats, please click here. We have adult cats at our Roseville, Auburn, and Pet Food Express locations.
  2. Please consider a donation from our Amazon kitten wishlist.
  3. We are always looking for loving foster homes. Teens over 13 years old can also receive community service hours for fostering Placer SPCA kittens. For more information, please visit placerspca.org/foster or email volunteer@placerspca.org.
  4. Make an unrestricted donation to the Placer SPCA. Every penny you donate benefits our animals!
